On September 25โ26, 2026, the Adventist-laymenโs Services and Industries (ASI) and the Adventist Professionals Organization (AdPro) successfully hosted a two-day Comprehensive Personal Evangelism Training at the Wongs Multipurpose Complex in General Santos City. Centered around the compelling theme โPrepared to Proclaim, Preparing Godโs People for the Final and Great Crisis,โ the gathering brought together believers from across the community for an impactful weekend of spiritual learning, fellowship, and practical skill-building designed to make sharing oneโs faith more intentional and confident.
The program featured notable guest speakers including SSD-SSPM Director Pastor Segundino Asoy, Retired Police Colonel Jovy Espenido, and Doctor in Ministry Pastor Jerson Arellano who delivered inspiring insights on reaching out to communities in critical times. Beyond teaching traditional evangelism methods, the sessions underscored a vital takeaway: fulfilling the church’s mission is a call for every individual believer, not just pastors or church leaders. Participants were encouraged to leverage their unique gifts, daily relationships, and personal opportunities to point others toward Christ. As attendees returned to their local churches, they carried with them not only practical tools and knowledge, but also a renewed passion to serve, proclaim the gospel, and look forward with hope to Christ’s return.
