The spirit of collaboration was palpable at the ACMC Building this past February 15, as the Southern Mindanao Mission (SMM) officially kicked off its MissionReach ’26 Orientation and Seminar. Organized by the NDR–IEL Department, the event wasn’t just another meeting; it was a rallying cry for church leaders, department heads, and lay members to tear down the silos of traditional ministry. The goal was simple yet profound: to align every hand and heart toward a unified, integrated approach to sharing the gospel across the region.
Throughout the day, the air was filled with a sense of shared purpose. The orientation peeled back the layers of the MissionReach ’26 framework, showing how disciple-making, nurturing, and evangelism are most effective when they aren’t treated as separate tasks but as a single, flowing movement. It was an invitation for local churches to stop working in isolation and start leaning into the strength of their collective identity, ensuring that no community in Southern Mindanao is left behind.

The seminar was enriched by a powerful lineup of guest speakers who brought both wisdom and a sense of urgency to the floor. Pr. Ian Felicitas and Pr. Arnel Gabin from the Southern Asia-Pacific Division (SSD) joined Pr. Raul Emnace and Pr. Rene Rosa from the South-Central Luzon Conference (SEPUM) to share insights on intentional nurturing and integrated leadership. Their messages served as a gentle but firm reminder: effective evangelism is about more than just numbers; it’s about the intentional, loving care of every soul reached.
By the end of the session, the room felt transformed by the testimonies and strategic discussions that took place. Participants left with more than just notes; they left with a vision. MissionReach ’26 now stands as a roadmap for the future—a guide that inspires every member of the Southern Mindanao Mission to remain mission-driven and deeply connected. As the work moves forward, the focus remains clear: one mission, one vision, and one united effort to advance God’s work throughout the region.
