SMM: Matutum View Academy Pathfinders Showcase Excellence in Tactical Inspection 2026

The Southern Mindanao Mission (SMM) recently celebrated a landmark gathering of youth leadership as hundreds of Pathfinders and Master Guides converged at Matutum View Academy for the Pathfinder Tactical Inspection 2026. Held on February 24, the event operated under the resolute theme, โ€œSharp minds. Strong hearts. United as one! โ€ This gathering served as a rigorous evaluation of the participants’ preparedness, focusing on marching precision, strict uniform standards, and the flawless execution of drills. Beyond the physical maneuvers, the inspection was designed to reinforce the core Pathfinder ideals of service, discipline, and Christ-centered leadership, echoing a collective commitment to stand ready for both divine and community service.

The evaluation process was meticulously overseen by a leadership team including Pastors Nelo Seda, Edilberto Tangayan, Jasper Dave Almocera, Irnie Hemoroz, and Elvin Lloyd Palomares, all of whom praised the youth for their high level of synchronization and infectious enthusiasm. Adding spiritual depth to the occasion, Elder Nildo Mamac, President of the Southern Mindanao Mission, addressed the assembly as the guest speaker. He challenged the Pathfinders to anchor their developing skills in a foundation of faith, reminding them that the most impactful leadership is born from a life dedicated to God and a heart postured toward serving others.

As the echoes of commands faded across the MVA grounds, the event concluded with a powerful sense of renewed commitment. The participants left with a strengthened resolve to live out the Pathfinder pledge in their daily livesโ€”remaining ready in mind, heart, and action. This successful tactical inspection not only showcased the technical excellence of the scouts but also solidified the ongoing mission of youth ministry within the Southern Mindanao Mission, ensuring a future generation of leaders who are as disciplined as they are devoted.
