On March 9, 2026, Hope Channel Central Mindanao conducted a comprehensive benchmarking visit to the Hope Channel Southern Mindanao (HCSM) headquarters in General Santos City. Led by Pastor Aldfredo Dichos, Communication Director of the North Central Mindanao Conference, the six-member crew toured the ACMC Building to study the operational workflows and technical infrastructure of the established station. This strategic visit serves as a foundational step for the Central Mindanao team as they prepare for the upcoming inauguration of their own brand-new media studio.
The immersion began with an exploration of the third-floor radio facilities, where faith-based audio programming is produced, followed by a deep dive into the ground-floor television production studio. The HCSM production team provided transparent, detailed explanations regarding their broadcast equipment, live production setups, and the specific roles required to maintain a professional media ministry. This peer-to-peer exchange allowed the visiting delegation to ask technical questions and gain practical insights into the daily challenges of running a high-output digital ministry.
Beyond the technical gear and software, a significant portion of the visit focused on the “heart” of the ministry. The HCSM team shared how they have maintained a unified and faithful operation for 13 years, navigating the high-pressure environment of media work through prayer and dedicated teamwork. They emphasized that while equipment is essential, the longevity of the ministry is rooted in a shared mission to proclaim the gospel. The visit concluded with a mutual affirmation of their roles as “media missionaries,” with the Central Mindanao team leaving inspired and better equipped to launch their new chapter of Christ-centered programming.
