The atmosphere in Bongmal, Kimlawis, was one of triumph and deep-seated gratitude on March 29, 2026, as Bongmal Adventist Academy (BAA) hosted its 10th Moving Up and Commencement Exercises. Celebrating under the powerful theme, โWith God, We Rise as Determiners of Tomorrow,โ the ceremony was more than just a graduation; it was a testament to a decade of mission-driven education. Faculty, parents, and community leaders gathered to honor a new batch of students who have navigated their academic journeys with perseverance, grounded in the spiritual values the academy holds dear.
The occasion was particularly poignant as it coincided with the academy’s 10th anniversary. Since its inception, Bongmal Adventist Academy has been a vital light in the region, specifically serving the Blaan community by providing free, quality, Christ-centered education. The guest speaker for the event, Maโam Jesiel Muta, MAEd, delivered a message that perfectly captured the spirit of the day.
