SMM: Global Children’s Day 2025

On March 15, 2025, Global Children’s Day was celebrated with great enthusiasm and joy, centered around the theme “Friends in the Neighborhood: Celebrating Kindness and Respect Across Cultures.” The day was a vibrant celebration of childhood, with children from diverse backgrounds coming together to share their traditions, customs, and stories. Through songs, dances, and art exhibits, children showcased the rich tapestry of cultures that make up our global community.

Polomolok East Seventh-day Adventist Church planned a range of events that encouraged inclusion, compassion, and respect as part of the program. Music performances and biblical stories taught children the value of empathy, teamwork, and conflict resolution. Additionally, as part of the event, they sang and engaged with the underprivileged youngsters while also taking part in food outreach. The incidents served as a potent reminder that, despite our differences, we can still join as neighbors and friends because of our common humanity.

The 2025 Global Children’s Day celebration was a genuinely remarkable event that had a long-lasting effect on the lives of kids and their families. It was evident that this day would serve as an inspiration for a new generation of leaders who would uphold the principles of empathy, compassion, and inclusion as people from all over the world gathered to celebrate kindness, respect, and cultural variety. In order to guarantee that every child may develop and flourish in a society that recognizes and embraces their individuality, the day’s festivities acted as a spark for further initiatives to advance intercultural understanding, tolerance, and peace.
