The Southern Mindanao Mission (SMM) Public Affairs and Religious Liberty (PARL) Department recently spearheaded the โSalamat Mayorโ Program on March 23, 2026, in the municipality of Tantangan, South Cotabato. This initiative serves as a formal platform for the Seventh-day Adventist Church to express its gratitude toward local government leaders who have demonstrated exceptional support for faith-based humanitarian efforts and community development. Hosted at the Tantangan Seventh-day Adventist Church, the event brought together high-ranking SMM administrators, including President Pastor Nildo S. Mamac, and municipal officials led by Honorable Mayor Temee Joy T. Gonzales. The program was characterized by a spirit of unity, featuring meditative sessions, musical tributes, and a powerful keynote from Pastor Mamac on the vital intersection of religious liberty and public service.
