From January 18 to 24, 2026, the Marbel Central Seventh-day Adventist Church served as a vibrant center for spiritual renewal, hosting a weeklong Revival and Reformation Seminar that drew seekers from across the region. Nestled at the corner of RizalโParades Street in Barangay Zone IV, the church became a sanctuary for those eager to delve into the theme, โDiscover the Mystery in Daniel and Revelation.โ Rather than focusing solely on the complex symbols of the Bibleโs prophetic books, the seminar sought to uncover the clarity of Godโs unfolding plan of salvation and His enduring love for humanity. Led by Pastor Edwin Gulfan, the nightly sessions were marked by Christ-centered and Spirit-filled presentations that brought fresh life to ancient texts. Pastor Gulfanโs approach went beyond academic study, consistently calling listeners to move past mere head knowledge and into a deeper, more intimate personal relationship with Jesus.

Every evening, the sanctuary was filled with the sounds of worship and the quiet intensity of prayer, as participants gathered to find assurance in Godโs promises and a clearer sense of purpose for the days ahead. The true impact of the seminar was felt most deeply through the personal stories of those in attendance; many testified that the messages provided a much-needed lamp for their feet, echoing the promise of Psalm 119:105, โThy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path.โ A significant highlight of the week was the decision of several individuals to accept Jesus Christ as their personal Savior, reflecting a genuine transformation that far outweighed the value of historical facts alone. These choices underscored the seminarโs ultimate goal: to foster a heart change that aligns with the character of Christ.

Drawing inspiration from the writings of Ellen G. White, the gathering reminded believers that the worldโs greatest need is for individuals of unshakeable integrityโmen and women whose consciences are as true to duty as the needle to the pole. This call for revival served as a timely reminder to live out oneโs faith with renewed commitment and courage. As the seminar concluded, the community left with a strengthened resolve to stand for the right and to share the “blessed hope” of Christโs soon return with a world in need of light.
